Duwisib Valley  - in its centre, the Duwisib River, one of Namibia's countless ephemeral watercourses, and Farm Duwisib surrounding the historic Duwisib Castle (photo below right).

Apart from hoodia plants, the "bush candle"(below) is a local resident too.

The serene scenery of an African savannah dotted with islands of thorn-bush and gnarled acacia trees against a backdrop of rugged mountain ranges on Farm Duwisib.
