Communal weaver bird nests are commonly found on the desert's fringes in southern Namibia. African wildlife is varied, and roams these vast lands. Unique plant species like the hoodia are found here too. |

The fruit of a cactus locally called "prickly pear" make a tasty jam and delicious juice. These rare delicacies and other souvenirs handcrafted locally are available in our Shop & Restaurant. |

A wooden ox-wagon, over 100 years in age, as well as other relicts of the 1800's are on display at Duwisib Castle and at the historic forge situated on our Farm Duwisib. |
